FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

+ how long does it last on the skin?

This all depends on your skin type and how well you follow the pre and post care instructions. Ombré can last up to 1-3 years on the skin as the machine technique allows for a longer lasting result with less trauma to the skin. The tattoo in most cases wont completely fade to nothing if you never get the treatment done again.

+ Do i have to get the touch up?

Depending on how well your skin took the pigment in the first session, you may or may not need the touch up performed. BUT it is required for you to come to your 6-8 week touch up so we can assess your brows in person and go from there.

+ how long do they usually take to heal?

This all depends on the individual but your eyebrows should be tattooed at least 2-3 weeks PRIOR to any important event. All up, the skin’s healing process can take 4-6 weeks to fully heal and be ready for your next touch up, but the “ugly stage” generally is within 7-14 days of the initial treatment. + If i’ve had my brows done previously elsewhere, can i still get them tattooed?

You must inform me at the time of booking and send me a current photo of your eyebrows, with details on how many times you’ve had them tattooed and when the last procedure was. Whether or not I can provide you a treatment will depend on the current state of your cosmetic tattooing. If deemed a suitable candidate, those with an existing tattoo must book as a new client for a fresh set + 6 week touch up.

+ do i still need to fill in my brows when i put makeup on?

On an everyday basis. if you apply your makeup carefully around your brows you are able to leave them as is with no filling in. This all depends on how dramatic your makeup look is, if you’re going for a full glam look you will most likely need to fill them in to balance everything out.

+ how many sessions are required?

Typically most will achieve their desired result with 1 touch up session 6-8 weeks after the initial session. Although this doesn’t go without saying that you might not need a 3rd or 4th session. The way your tattoo lasts will depend on a number of individual factors such as; lifestyle, skin type and how well you follow pre-care & aftercare instructions.

+ is there an age restriction?

Yes. You must be 18+ to qualify for eyebrow tattooing.

+ what do i do before my appointment?

Please thoroughly read through the Pre & Post Care Instructions HERE.

When you get your brows tattooed you will be given an aftercare kit with an aftercare pamphlet and aftercare balm
